Bruce Azus
Mr. Azus joined AAG in 1996. He spent the first 4 years of his career with the national insurance broker, Walter Kaye Associates, now known as Hub International. After Walter Kaye, he joined Azus & Kanin Associates, as a public adjuster and then formed Property Adjustment Co. Inc, where he was president. He has handled losses of various scopes and sizes in both the United States and the Caribbean Islands. Mr. Azus has been involved in the preparation of expert loss consulting evidence for use in appraisals and trials. He has also participated in seminars and workshops to clients and colleagues on various topics including negotiations with first-party insurance carriers and business interruption.
Mr. Azus is also a licensed insurance broker and consultant. He is currently licensed as a public adjuster in many other states throughout the U.S. He is a member of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors and Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). Mr. Azus has also held the role of President at Asset Reconstruction Group and Quantum International Loss Consultants. While Mr. Azus has represented a diverse selection of both commercial and residential clients, his specialty lies in condominium, co-op, rental, and commercial real estate cases.
Education: Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a General Insurance Designation from Insurance Institute of America.
