On March 18th, 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic uncertainty, a home experienced a significant fire ignited by an alleged defect in a BBQ construction and installation. After the fire was believed to be extinguished, it reignited several hours later, resulting in a total burn of the home.
A recent fire destroyed 16 apartments and ensuing water
damage with the estimated timeline of repairs being 2
years. AAG was retained to oversee the emergency repair process under the direction of city agencies to ensure costs could be included by Building's insurance company.
Two days before Christmas 2022, a winter storm caused Hampton Bay canals to experience a catastrophic overflow. The resulting canal flood caused significant damage to a fixed-dock marina and its MEP systems. AAG was retained by the insured to navigate a unique Property Damage and Nautical Specialty Equipment claim.
On January 21, 2020, a cooperative apartment building in The Bronx sustained significant fire damage to the top-floor
apartments, resulting in significant water damage below. Approximately 16 units were affected, and the shareholders of those units were displaced.
From August 26th through September 5th, 2021, Hurricane Ida, a category 4 Atlantic hurricane wreaked havoc and destruction from the Gulf up to the North East US. With 150 mph winds, it brought flooding and building damage. AAG was brought into Louisiana by a family with $5 million in damaged real estate.
On July 22, 2015, a 600,000 sqft warehouse filled with vehicles caught fire at 2 am. After burning for hours, and firefighters struggling to put out the blaze, nearby homes and buildings were evacuated for safety. Our team at AAG helped the owners of the warehouse file and settle their claims throughout the entire process.
On October 11, 2006, New York Yankee Pitcher Cory Lidle tragically crashed his single-engine aircraft into the Belaire Condominiums at 527 East 72nd Street. AAG handled all aspects of this high-profile case that New York City won’t soon forget.
On Saturday, March 15, 2008, a crane towering over a high-rise construction site on Manhattan’s East Side collapsed across a city block onto an adjacent apartment building. Our property claims consultant helped the owners recoup their losses.
